UNIQLO UT has partnered with POP MART to introduce a new collaborative collection that brings Kasing Lung’s “The Monsters” universe to the brand’s graphic tee series. Known for their playful nature and imaginative origins, these characters now appear on apparel designed for both adults and kids, giving fans a fresh way to connect with Lung’s creations.

“The Monsters” originate from Nordic folklore and are portrayed as mischievous elves with distinctive personalities. Labubu stands out as the most recognizable character, while Zimomo, Tycoco, Mokoko, Spooky, and Pato complete the group. Each figure carries its own charm, brought to life in this collection through a mix of vibrant illustrations, collages, and text elements. These designs draw directly from Lung’s hand-drawn sketches, which capture the humor and whimsical energy that have made the characters so popular among collectors and pop culture enthusiasts.

The collaboration showcases each character in dynamic visual formats, with prints that combine layered drawings, playful typography, and detailed graphic arrangements. The result is apparel that reflects Lung’s distinct artistic style while staying true to the identity of each Monster. Fans will find pieces that range from expressive full-front graphics to more understated designs, all incorporating Lung’s signature use of color and composition.

The collection includes both t-shirts and sweatshirts, expanding the options for year-round wear. UNIQLO has produced the items in a palette that spans white, black, grey, and pink, offering versatility in styling while letting the artwork remain the focal point. Each piece serves as a wearable canvas, bringing Lung’s characters from collectible figures and illustrations into everyday fashion.

By working with POP MART, a leader in collectible toy culture, UNIQLO connects its LifeWear concept to a creative universe already celebrated by a global fan base. POP MART’s expertise in character-driven design and Lung’s artistic vision combine with UNIQLO UT’s accessible and high-quality apparel, resulting in a collection that appeals to both long-time collectors and newcomers to The Monsters series.

The first release is set for August 25, launching initially in UNIQLO flagship stores across Japan and other parts of Asia. A wider global release will follow, giving fans around the world the chance to own pieces from the collaboration. This rollout strategy allows the collection to debut in markets where POP MART and The Monsters already have strong followings before expanding to new audiences.

For UNIQLO UT, the partnership continues its tradition of working with artists and brands that bring distinct cultural perspectives to the apparel line. For POP MART and Kasing Lung, it opens the door for fans to engage with the characters in a new medium, graphic apparel that integrates collectible art into everyday wear. The collaboration reflects a shared interest in storytelling, design, and accessibility, turning a beloved creative property into something fans can incorporate into their daily lives.

Through this release, “The Monsters” move beyond display shelves and limited-edition figure drops into a new form of expression, making their presence felt in the graphic apparel space. The collection gives fans the opportunity to wear their favorite characters, showcasing Lung’s artistry in a way that resonates with both the pop art community and fashion consumers.
