Italian fashion house Brioni presented its Spring Summer 2026 womenswear collection as an exercise in softness and refinement, shaped by impeccable craftsmanship and an approach designed for living. The tailoring carries suggestion rather than rigidity, with comfort and poetry forming its foundation. Each look maintains precise construction while offering a freedom that resonates with the maison’s heritage in menswear. The La Donna line continues to evolve with a vocabulary that draws on sartorial clarity while introducing new expressions for a modern wardrobe.
The season expands the collection’s range with skirts, blouses, and dresses that bring together structure and fluidity in unexpected ways. Volumes remain generous but show subtle adjustments that enhance movement and contour. Brioni focuses on fabrics that provide lightness: silk seersucker, featherweight cashmere, linen-silk mixes, and crepe de chine. Garments are designed to move with ease, unlined and breathable, creating the sensation of dissolving into the day rather than weighing it down.

Innovation comes through details that reimagine tailoring for summer. The house introduced sleeveless jackets and necklines shaped to trace the décolleté. Sculptural wrap skirts and a décolleté-cut jacket dress bridge suiting with sensuality. While these designs hold precision, they remain fluid and unmistakably feminine. Boxy shirt dresses, elongated men’s-style shirts, and square-cut blouses further abstract Brioni’s menswear codes, reinterpreted in draped silks and cottons. Eveningwear extends this vocabulary with tuxedo-inspired gowns and silk slip-on dresses that reference the cut of a man’s v-neck shirt.
Color choices mirror the sun-scorched tones of Rome, expressed through beige, cream, pale ochre, and softened blue. These hues reflect the light of Italian daytime and set a restrained stage for the collection. Powder pink interrupts the neutrals with a note of brightness, striking yet controlled, serving as a focal color that draws the eye without excess.

Materials define the collection through touch and texture. The house selected fabrics that surprise through their surfaces: wool-silk solaro with cool weight, silk-linen voile with transparency, and airy cashmere with an almost fragile quality. Seersucker in silk and crinkled crepe add dimension, designed to invite closeness. Accessories follow the same philosophy. Pumps, bare sandals, and untreated leather belts provide natural finishes. Their simplicity complements the clothes while allowing the lightness of the garments to remain central.
