Dior Presents the Spring Summer 2026 Campaign

Shot by David Sims, Jonathan Anderson’s vision unfolds as an exercise in gesture, silhouette, and self-composition.

Dior unveils its Spring Summer 2026 global campaign as a study of character, image, and presence. Shot by David Sims, the campaign marks a defining moment in Jonathan Anderson’s ongoing recoding of the House, framing fashion as an interpretative act shaped as much by gesture and atmosphere as by clothing itself.

AD CAMPAIGNS

Rendered in both color and black and white, the images operate like visual sketches. They communicate with restraint, relying on posture, facial expression, and the quiet tension between body and garment. Nothing feels overstated. Instead, meaning accumulates through subtlety, allowing the viewer to read each image slowly, as if observing a rehearsal rather than a performance.

The settings are deliberately spare yet evocative. Boiserie walls, parquet floors, carefully chosen furniture, and understated linens suggest an aristocratic interior assuming its own role in the narrative. Within these spaces appear actors Greta Lee, Louis Garrel, and Paul Kircher, alongside footballer Kylian Mbappé and models Laura Kaiser, Sunday Rose, and Saar Mansvelt Beck. They appear paused, mid-rehearsal, or on the verge of transformation, suspended between lived reality and mise en scène.

Clothing takes on an architectural quality. The campaign highlights the structure of silhouettes and the tactility of materials, allowing fabric, cut, and movement to speak quietly but clearly. Archive references enter into dialogue with the present through pieces such as the Bar jacket and Delft shorts, where history feels active rather than reverential. Tailoring and piped shirting coexist with easeful denim trousers and knitted capes, creating a balance between precision and informality.

Accessories function as characters in their own right. The tassel-covered Lady Dior bag, the Dior Cigale with its signature mini bow, the Dior Crunchy and Dior Bow bags, and the Diorly each introduce a distinct temperament. Rather than serving as finishing touches, they contribute to the narrative, adding nuance to the individuals who carry them.
