A$AP Rocky marks his first year as Creative Director of Ray-Ban with the launch of the New Metal collection. The release centers on metal construction and introduces his first optical designs for the brand. Rocky brings rap icon Nas into the campaign, framing the project through a nostalgic short film that presents the new frames in motion.

The New Metal collection focuses on brushed metal finishes and streamlined detailing. Rocky shifts attention toward slimmer silhouettes and wire constructions, steering the offering away from heavier acetate builds. The lineup features both sun and optical frames, structured around oval curves and sharp rectangular shapes. The design language references 1990s eyewear through narrow proportions and clean metallic lines.

Eight pairs form the core launch. These frames appear in soft ovals and defined rectangles, with wired styles and rimless options included across the range. Gilded accents and metallic finishes define the visual tone. The frames project a pared-back direction, guided by polished metal surfaces and controlled proportions.

Rocky introduces rimless models for a stripped-down approach. Round and rectangular variations allow the metal framework to stand out in gold finishes. Each style arrives in both optical and sun versions, with sun lenses offered in brown and black.

A ninth design expands the range through a wraparound silhouette. This special-edition model presents a futuristic profile and will be available only in select Ray-Ban stores.

The New Metal collection follows Rocky’s recent activity across fashion and design. He presented his AWGE show during New York Fashion Week inside a former downtown bank. He also launched his jewelry line, PAVE NITEO, which he wore to the Chanel couture show in January. These moments frame the eyewear release within a wider creative output. The A$AP Rocky x Ray-Ban New Metal collection is available now through the official Ray-Ban website and select physical retail locations.
