The North Face introduces the second drop of the HKe collection, continuing a line that combines outdoor performance technology with contemporary design. The release brings an eight-piece lineup that draws on construction methods developed for mountain environments while translating those elements into garments suited for everyday wear. Through this collection, The North Face presents outerwear that carries technical durability alongside streamlined styling.
HKE DROP 1
The new drop includes returning pieces from the first HKe season. Among them, the HKe Devils Thumb GTX jacket and the HKe Utility Wind jacket appear again as key designs within the lineup. Both garments use 100 percent recycled polyester taffeta as the primary fabric. The material integrates Spectra yarns and GORE-TEX fabrics, creating jackets designed to handle demanding weather conditions while maintaining a lightweight structure.

Spectra yarns play an important role in the construction of these garments. The fiber delivers exceptional tensile strength and durability within the textile structure. According to The North Face, the material offers strength measured at fifteen times that of steel by weight. This characteristic allows the jackets to maintain resilience while remaining lightweight for outdoor use.
GORE-TEX fabrics also contribute to the performance of the HKe jackets. These materials support weather protection through waterproof construction. The design approach allows the garments to function in wet conditions while maintaining breathability and comfort for the wearer.

The HKe collection also introduces the Unisex HKe Spectra GTX Mountain Light Jacket. This garment features waterproof GORE-TEX 2L fabrics that provide reliable protection against rain and moisture. The jacket includes a non-PFC DWR finish, which supports water resistance during outdoor activity.
Design features in the Mountain Light Jacket support climbing and alpine environments. The jacket includes an adjustable brimmed hood that remains compatible with climbing helmets. This construction allows the hood to function during technical activities while maintaining secure coverage.

The Mountain Light Jacket also uses 100 percent recycled polyester within its construction. Spectra ripstop fabric appears in areas exposed to abrasion. These reinforced sections increase durability in locations that experience higher wear during outdoor movement and climbing.
Throughout the collection, The North Face focuses on material technology and durable construction. Recycled polyester fabrics contribute to the structure of several garments within the lineup. Spectra fibers provide strength and reinforcement within key sections of the garments. GORE-TEX materials support waterproof protection in challenging weather conditions.

The eight-piece HKe drop presents outerwear designed to function during outdoor activity while adapting to everyday use. Through the integration of technical fabrics, reinforced construction, and recycled materials, The North Face continues the development of the HKe collection.
The North Face released the HKe collection through select lifestyle retail partners as well as online at thenorthface.com. Prices across the eight-piece lineup range from 150 dollars to 500 dollars depending on the garment.
