The collaboration follows the first Kobe x FC Barcelona collection, which brought the Kobe Sheath into professional football for the first time. Nike and Barça continue that partnership with a kit that draws from Bryant’s discipline, work ethic and belief in constant improvement. The project also reflects his lifelong love of football and his admiration for FC Barcelona’s joyful style of play and philosophy.
Field Purple defines the away shirt and references the color Bryant made iconic. Nike covers the fabric with a black mamba texture that refers to his relentless work ethic. Gold accents connect the design with the pursuit of championships. An iridescent Barça crest reflects the attention to detail athletes need to win at the highest level.
Nike adds one of Bryant’s most familiar messages inside the collar: “Leave the game better than you found it.” The quote addresses athletes who reject fear and understand that hard work earns glory.
