Oakley introduces Infiniloop, a limited-edition eyewear model developed through the brand’s Future Genesis platform. The design follows one central challenge: use the fewest possible lines required to carry a lens across the face. Oakley turns that restriction into an experimental frame inspired by the continuous geometry of a Möbius strip.

The frame moves around the lenses without enclosing them completely. Its open construction exposes the outer lens edges and gives the lenses a floating appearance. Negative space forms an active part of the structure, allowing Oakley to reduce the frame.

Infiniloop uses two materials with separate structural roles. Titanium forms the upper frame lines and provides a strong, precise foundation. Oakley’s flexible O-Matter material shapes the lower section. The two materials connect at only a small number of contact points, creating a lightweight composition defined by thin lines and open areas.
The reduced construction places close attention on each component. Titanium traces the upper contour, while O-Matter follows the lower edge with a more flexible form. The frame leaves visible space between these sections, allowing the lens shape to remain fully exposed.

Oakley pairs the frame with Prizm Black lenses. The dark lenses provide a clear visual center within the open composition and connect the conceptual design with the brand’s optical technology. Their exposed outer edges emphasize the unusual construction and support the original aim of limiting the frame to essential lines.
The model arrives in Polished Chrome and Matte Black, with both versions featuring Prizm Black lenses. The two finishes give the same geometry different visual qualities.

Oakley developed Infiniloop as part of Future Genesis Chapter 2, the latest section of its creative storytelling platform. Future Genesis connects product development with a fictional universe and extends the project into comic books. The Infiniloop launch includes a collector’s set of comics linked to the second chapter.
The story returns to Maxine Fearlight, the central character within the Future Genesis saga. Chapter 2 follows her movement toward the outer world, where upcoming events will change her life. Infiniloop extends the visual direction of that fictional universe through a physical product shaped by the same ideas.
