J.Crew introduces the Tiny Rollneck, a new version of its well-known Rollneck sweater, with Emma Chamberlain fronting the campaign. The launch updates the familiar silhouette through a smaller, fitted shape designed with a slightly cropped proportion and a more playful attitude.

The Rollneck has remained one of J.Crew’s most recognizable pieces, and the brand has continued to revisit the design across recent seasons. In Fall 2025, The New Rollneck Generation presented the sweater as a modern uniform for a new creative class. Spring 2026 followed with Rollneck Remix, which invited independent designers to interpret the style through their own perspectives.
The Tiny Rollneck now takes the concept in a different direction by changing its proportions. The new silhouette comes shrunken and fitted, with a slightly cropped length that gives the sweater a younger and more graphic character. Bright color plays a central role, while references to prep and sport shape the overall styling.
J.Crew selected Chamberlain to introduce the new version. The brand positions her as a defining voice across Gen Z and young millennial culture, with a personal style shaped by fashion, humor and individuality. Her approach to familiar wardrobe pieces aligns with the Tiny Rollneck’s updated proportions and more playful presentation.
Ian Markell shot and directed the campaign, creating a candy-colored, retro-futuristic environment influenced by early-2000s fashion media, character-selection screens and pop culture. The styling comes from Jared Ellner, Chamberlain’s longtime collaborator, who worked with J.Crew Creative Director Olympia Gayot on the campaign.
The campaign continues J.Crew’s recent focus on updating familiar pieces through proportion and styling. The Tiny Rollneck uses a fitted, cropped shape and bright color, framed by saturated sets and early-2000s references. The J.Crew Tiny Rollneck will be available beginning August 26 online and in select J.Crew stores.
