PUMA and le PÈRE introduce the first release from their FW26 collaboration, beginning with a new interpretation of the classic Suede. The project revisits the familiar PUMA silhouette through le PÈRE’s perspective, combining references to vintage French bowling footwear with the Lower East Side label’s “Gentle Man” style.

The PUMA x le PÈRE Suede keeps suede as its defining material while changing the proportions and construction of the original sneaker. A premium full-suede upper gives the shoe a uniform finish, while a slimmer profile creates a more refined shape. The design also introduces a split-toe construction, adding a distinctive detail to the front of the sneaker.

The collaboration draws directly from the character of vintage French bowling shoes. That reference influences the silhouette and gives the Suede a different identity within PUMA’s established footwear catalog. le PÈRE brings its own approach to the model through details connected to the brand’s Lower East Side aesthetic, described through its “Gentle Man” concept.
A contrasting heel panel carries both the le PÈRE and PUMA logos, creating a clear marker of the collaboration without changing the overall simplicity of the sneaker. The joint branding appears as one of the main decorative elements alongside the split-toe construction.

PUMA and le PÈRE finish the first release in a cream colorway. The neutral suede upper keeps attention on the altered silhouette and construction, while a green lining introduces color inside the shoe.
The sneaker represents the first installment from the broader PUMA x le PÈRE FW26 collaborative capsule. The release will remain exclusive to le PÈRE. The collaboration launches on August 23 at the brand’s New York City flagship store, where the event will include a live performance by Isaiah Rashad.

With its first installment, PUMA and le PÈRE focus on a single recognizable sneaker and adjust its shape through material, proportion and construction. The full-suede upper, slim profile, split toe, contrasting heel panel and green lining define the new version, while its French bowling influence gives the classic Suede a specific direction for FW26.
