Yves Salomon approaches Summer 2027 through light, color and material, creating a wardrobe that brings the house’s technical knowledge into increasingly delicate forms. The collection moves between two distinct visual references: the restrained palette of painter Giorgio Morandi and the intense colors associated with Luis Barragán’s house-studio.
SPRING SUMMER 2027
Morandi’s influence appears through icy blue, beige, taupe and deep blue, giving part of the collection a muted tonal direction. Pink, red and yellow introduce a brighter register drawn from Barragán. Yves Salomon places these colors throughout the season so the wardrobe shifts in intensity, recalling changes in natural light throughout the day.

Fabric provides another central focus. Textured tweeds, linen combinations, jersey and silk crêpe create fluidity across the collection. Cold wool introduces greater definition, while cashmere knit sits closely against the body. The contrast between soft and structured materials gives the garments different levels of weight without interrupting the collection’s light approach.
Perforated leather introduces one of the season’s more graphic treatments. Small openings create dotted floral forms that reference Yayoi Kusama’s visual language. Yves Salomon carries this interest in surface through other details, using construction and finishing to give familiar materials a more intricate character.

Details define much of the wardrobe. Jewel buttons appear across garments, while scarf collars introduce softer volume around the neckline. Suede receives leather ribbons worked with a lace-like effect, and leather piping traces cashmere pieces. Fine leather ties wrap around dresses and skirts to define the waist.
Military pockets add a utilitarian element to the collection. Delicate stripes recur across the wardrobe, adding another graphic element among the fabrics and finishes. The combination gives the season a controlled sense of variety through proportion, material and detail.
Outerwear continues Yves Salomon’s exploration of lightness. The trench coat gains length and offers two styling options, allowing one garment to shift according to how it is worn. The house also reduces its signature mink into a micro-cape, treating fur as a compact accessory rather than a full outer layer.

The micro-cape appears alongside silk T-shirts, oversized striped shirts and short jackets. Small suede bomber jackets add another outerwear option, while handkerchief-hem skirts bring movement through uneven lengths. Masculine trousers provide a more structured counterpart within the wardrobe.
Throughout Summer 2027, Yves Salomon focuses on the relationship between refined materials and precise finishing. The collection uses leather, cashmere, silk, linen, wool and tweed across garments that remain light in proportion and flexible in styling. Details such as jewel buttons, leather ribbons, scarf collars and defined waist ties carry much of the decorative work.p
