Santoni Spring Summer 2027 presents The Art of Encounter, a collection focused on the connections between people, places and ideas. Shown throughout Milan Fashion Week at the Maison’s Via Monte Napoleone showroom, the presentation unfolds through a sequence of spaces, with each room introducing a different aspect of Santoni’s approach to femininity.

The presentation begins with five key Maison codes: Arancio Santoni, Seta, Velatura, Serpentine and Goodyear Reverse construction. Displayed together on a sculptural infinity table, they trace the relationship between established Santoni techniques and their continued development.
The collection centers on the Santoni woman, defined by independence, culture and individuality. Her wardrobe focuses on exceptional materials, distinctive details and techniques that reward closer inspection.
The Papavero family draws inspiration from poppies found in the Marche region. Santoni translates the flowers into three-dimensional forms, constructing them petal by petal from soft Nappa leather and Seta suede. The Papavero loafer pairs the floral detail with a relaxed suede structure. During the presentation, a Santoni artisan demonstrates the process used to create the flower by hand.
The Odette family approaches leather through volume and touch. Softly padded leather bands form its signature knot, which artisans tie and shape by hand. The Odette mule leads the group alongside sandals and sabots.
The Sibille pump also returns as an established Santoni design, while accessories take a larger role in the collection. The Mira bag receives its own room, where Santoni presents the style across an expansive range of colors and uses the palette to emphasize individual choice.
A more relaxed direction appears through the Weekender loafer and Off-Duty sneaker. The Weekender updates the classic penny loafer in soft Seta suede. The Off-Duty takes cues from a Derby and translates them into a casual silhouette made from supple Nappa leather.
Santoni also extends the presentation beyond leatherwork through its collaboration with Cartiera Manualis. Following their work together at Homo Faber 2026, Santoni hosts the paper atelier, whose practice comes from the long-established papermaking tradition of Fabriano in the Marche region.
Personalization becomes another key part of the season through One Live, Santoni’s approach to on-the-spot customization. Interchangeable tassels allow wearers to alter the appearance of their shoes. Initially developed for the Carla loafer, the idea now extends to sandals and slides.
The final room focuses on the making process behind these interchangeable details. A Santoni artisan demonstrates the Velatura technique and the hand-finishing used to complete each tassel for the Carla loafer.
Santoni Spring Summer 2027 presents femininity through material, color, personalization and hand-finished detail. The collection leaves room for individual interpretation while connecting footwear, accessories and Maison techniques with the perspective of the person wearing them.
