Nike is releasing a fresh lineup of ReactX Rejuven8 Slides on May 15, expanding its recovery-focused range with new builds and select restocks. Designed for post-activity comfort and everyday wear, the slide model arrived on the heels of the ReactX Rejuven8 clog’s strong market entry earlier this spring. With ReactX foam as its foundation and a sculpted one-piece silhouette, the Rejuven8 Slide presents a utilitarian yet visually impactful approach to recovery footwear.

Expanding on a Strong Foundation

The ReactX Rejuven8 Slide follows the success of the ReactX Rejuven8 clog, which launched in March 2025. The clog set a new benchmark for recovery footwear with its sculpted design and full-length ReactX foam build. It quickly found an audience among runners, gym-goers, and consumers who prioritize comfort throughout the day. The slide version adapts that same design philosophy for warmer temperatures, incorporating an open-toe layout while preserving the comfort and cushioning that defined the original.

Nike’s use of ReactX foam across the upper and midsole creates a cohesive construction that delivers soft, responsive cushioning with every step. Initially introduced in the Vomero 18, ReactX offers 13% more energy return than standard React foam and is produced using a process that reduces carbon emissions by 43%. These technical upgrades give the Rejuven8 Slide a dual purpose – high performance and lower environmental impact.

Designed for Daily Recovery

The footbed is sculpted to encourage natural alignment, supporting both arch and heel while reducing pressure in high-impact zones. With their open-toe design, the ReactX Rejuven8 Slides allow for breathability and toe flexibility – features that make them especially suitable for post-run recovery, long days on foot, or simply lounging during hot weather. The wide strap delivers stability without creating tightness, and the high sidewalls cradle the foot comfortably.

Nike also expanded the forefoot width to accommodate a broader range of foot shapes. This subtle but important adjustment reflects a more inclusive approach to fit, making the slides functional for athletes with swelling or anyone who struggles with restrictive footwear during recovery.

Technical Grip and Durability

Underfoot, each pair features a durable rubber outsole with a radial traction pattern engineered for grip across multiple surfaces. Whether worn poolside, on pavement, or indoors, the traction system adds functional performance to a silhouette that could otherwise be dismissed as casual wear. That attention to detail speaks to the shoe’s hybrid identity: both recovery tool and everyday essential.

Dusty Cactus

Among the new colorways, ‘Dusty Cactus’ brings vibrant contrast with a teal upper and a blue Game Royal midsole. A molded metallic silver Swoosh adds visual edge. The dynamic color split complements the sculptural shape of the slide and delivers a more expressive aesthetic than most recovery footwear on the market.

Team Red

This version features a uniform maroon treatment across the entire slide, with a crimson molded Swoosh embedded into the wide strap. The rich hue offers a deeper alternative to black or grey, while maintaining a sleek, low-profile look. Like the others, the contoured footbed is designed for full-foot support and long-wear stability.

Barely Volt

Built for visibility, the ‘Barely Volt’ edition arrives in a bold neon green. The tonal Swoosh and continuous color application elevate the statement-making nature of the slide. Etched horizontal lines across the midsole enhance the visual rhythm of the high-stack foam while reinforcing its performance-driven design.

Khaki

The Khaki colorway delivers an earth-toned option for those looking for a more natural palette. Its tonal execution includes a molded Swoosh on the strap and open-toe ventilation for breathability. With its neutral coloring, this version fits easily into off-duty wardrobes or recovery kits.

Triple Black

First released on April 23 and returning this week due to demand, the ‘Triple Black’ slide offers a sleek monochrome option built with a single piece of ReactX foam. A molded black Swoosh maintains the all-black theme, while the radial outsole and contoured footbed ensure grip and comfort.

Summit White

Also part of the April 23 launch, ‘Summit White’ brings a soft neutral tone to the same foam-based build. Designed with extra room in the forefoot and a consistent one-piece finish, this restock comes in response to rapid sellout during the initial release. It remains one of the more versatile offerings in the collection.

Release Info and Pricing

The Nike Rejuven8 Slides release date is set for May 15, when all six colorways will be available via Nike and select retailers at a standard price of $60 USD. Given the fast sell-through of the original launch, shoppers are advised to act quickly to secure their preferred sizes.

A Recovery Line That’s Gaining Momentum

With this expanded drop, Nike continues to refine its presence in recovery footwear. Rather than limit ReactX foam to running shoes or structured training models, Nike has scaled its application to slides and clogs, giving consumers access to high-performance cushioning in forms suited for recovery and leisure. By adapting technical materials for casual formats, the ReactX line offers functionality without compromising comfort.

This week’s launch shows how the Rejuven8 Slide is positioned to carry the success of its predecessor into summer. With multiple styles catering to different preferences and a consistent build focused on ergonomic comfort, Nike is giving consumers more tools to rest, recover, and move smarter.
