Reebok has introduced the Angel Reese 1, the first performance signature shoe designed for WNBA star Angel Reese. The reveal arrives just before her second All-Star appearance, and it marks the brand’s return to signature footwear for women athletes after a long hiatus.
Reebok presents the shoe in the eye-catching Diamond Dust colorway. This iridescent finish shifts between purple and pink hues under light, giving the entire mid-cut upper a reflective quality. Designers placed reinforced overlays around the midfoot and heel to deliver stability for quick cuts and full-court sprints. The tongue features Reese’s bold “AR” logo, and heel detailing celebrates her influence on and off the court.

Images suggest the shoe carries a dual-purpose design. It appears built to withstand heavy use, offering a supportive fit with structured panels and a firm, responsive outsole. While Reebok hasn’t shared detailed specifications, the visual presentation emphasizes traction-ready tread and substantial midsole foam. The design aligns with elite-level play.
Reese teased the sneaker in a campaign alongside other major announcements. She prepared to feature on the WNBA cover of the upcoming NBA 2K26 video game. In her social media posts, she connected the shimmering Diamond Dust shade to the concept of transformation under pressure, underscoring the theme of growth and performance.

This marks the first time Reebok has offered a female-led signature basketball shoe since the late 1990s. Rebecca Lobo earned that distinction in 1997, making the Angel Reese 1 a historic reboot. Only a few current WNBA players boast signature sneakers. Angel Reese now joins Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson, and Jacy Sheldon in that exclusive group.
Reebok hasn’t confirmed a release date, but gave a timeframe of 2025. They plan to share pricing and retail details soon. Fans can expect new colorways to appear later in the year, building on the Diamond Dust debut.
