PUMA brings back the Inhale, a silhouette introduced in the early 2000s, with a fluorescent color update that focuses on energy, motion, and creative self-expression. The design features flame-style overlays, a curved structure, and vivid contrasts across the upper. These visual shifts push the original model into a new context shaped by contemporary styling and on-foot presence.
The 2025 relaunch is accompanied by a campaign shaped around a cast of self-styled content creators. Instead of adhering to a single lookbook format, the team works within a custom-built shop set, showcasing live styling, loose structure, and collaborative participation. Visuals transition from day scenes to nighttime moments, with the sneaker positioned as part of everyday movement and interaction.

The shoot includes behind-the-scenes footage that captures the energy of the set, including last-minute adjustments, conversations between crew members, and styling decisions made on the spot. Every detail is meant to reflect the spontaneity and raw texture of real-world wear. No models are placed in artificial scenarios, and the final product avoids polish in favor of authentic documentation.

The Inhale maintains its identity as a performance-inspired sneaker, now refined with new materials and fit adjustments. Updates include a wider base and increased comfort, without sacrificing the distinctive midsole shape or aggressive visual lines that define the silhouette. The shoe keeps its original CELL cushioning platform, reinforcing its place in both performance and casual settings.

Since its return to PUMA’s catalog, the Inhale has appeared in collaborations and archival reissues. Previous colorways involved partnerships with A$AP Rocky and product features worn by athletes like Xavi Simons. The 2025 fluorescent version continues this narrative, offering a style that builds on early-2000s influences while reflecting how younger generations style and document their fashion choices.

PUMA’s campaign focuses on inclusion, co-creation, and the momentum of everyday creativity. It avoids static storytelling and instead builds an atmosphere where the product enters the picture as part of lived experience. There is no choreographed script, only energy captured through proximity and participation.

The fluorescent PUMA Inhale launches globally on August 7, 2025. It will be available through PUMA’s website, select flagship stores, and authorized retailers.
