Salomon introduces the XT-Whisper Void, a unisex shoe that reinterprets the brand’s trail heritage with a contemporary approach. Designed to honor Salomon’s running legacy, the XT-Whisper Void delivers advanced performance features while presenting a design that reflects individuality and personal expression.

Originally developed for female athletes, the XT-Whisper takes on a renewed form in the Void edition with streamlined lines and a palette of subtle, ethereal tones. This design choice creates a luminous, iridescent effect that draws attention while maintaining a refined aesthetic. The combination of high-performance technology and a style-focused execution gives the shoe versatility for both athletic and lifestyle wear.
The XT-Whisper Void incorporates Salomon’s proprietary Sensifit, Quicklace, and Agile Chassis systems. Sensifit ensures the upper cradles the foot securely, Quicklace enables fast and precise adjustment, and Agile Chassis delivers stability and support through various movements. These technologies work together to provide comfort and control in a variety of settings.
For the campaign, Salomon built on the concept of “whisper” to create a film that pairs atmospheric visuals with the tagline “Style whispers, personality echoes.” The film features Seoul-based street style figure Cheri, whose eclectic fashion choices reflect the shoe’s confidence-driven design. The creative direction situates the XT-Whisper Void in a surreal environment, aligning its technical build with a distinctive visual narrative.
The XT-Whisper Void launches in four colorways: Black/Black/Silver Metallic X, Vanilla Ice/Vanilla Ice/Ftw Silver, Liberty/Astral Aura/Dynasty Green, and Alloy/Castlerock/Ftw Silver. Each version offers a distinct character while maintaining the same technical construction.
Salomon will release the XT-Whisper Void globally on August 20th through selected retail partners and online, with a retail price of $170. The model represents a continuation of the brand’s approach to blending its trail-running expertise with design elements that speak to a wider audience.
