PUMA Basketball and Tyrese Haliburton will release the Hali 1 Halucinating, a new basketball sneaker created in collaboration with designer Salehe Bembury. The model will arrive on March 20, 2026. The project introduces a new silhouette connected to Haliburton as he prepares for his return to NBA competition next season.

The design reflects a period of unpredictability in Haliburton’s career. The concept behind the “Halucinating” colorway draws from that experience while marking a renewed focus on the upcoming season. The sneaker translates this moment into a performance model created for competition on the court.

Bembury approached the project through a futuristic visual direction combined with technical construction developed for basketball play. The Hali 1 incorporates a dynamic upper intended to support quick transitions, rapid direction changes, and explosive movement during games.
PUMA built the sneaker around several performance components. The midsole incorporates full-length NITROFOAM cushioning. Engineers produce this foam through nitrogen infusion, which creates a lightweight material designed to deliver responsive cushioning underfoot.

The sneaker also includes a TPU midfoot shank that reinforces the structure of the shoe. This element stabilizes the foot through the middle section of the silhouette and supports balance during lateral motion on the court.
The outsole uses PUMAGRIP, a high-abrasion rubber compound developed for traction. This material supports grip on hardwood surfaces during acceleration, defensive stops, and fast directional shifts.
Together, these elements create a basketball model designed for performance. The upper construction, cushioning system, midfoot reinforcement, and traction outsole form the technical structure of the Hali 1.
The Hali 1 “Halucinating” will retail for $130. The release connects PUMA Basketball, Tyrese Haliburton, and Salehe Bembury through a new performance silhouette scheduled to arrive on March 20, 2026.
