Burberry has introduced its Winter 2025 campaign, titled A Grand Escape. Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee brought the vision of the collection into focus by returning to the interiors and fabrics that inspired the show. “We wanted to bring the collection to life, and to tell the story behind all those incredible textiles,” Lee explained. The campaign was photographed by Sam Rock, with creative direction by Lee and artistic direction from Lane & Associates.
The imagery was captured inside Wolterton Hall, a Palladian estate designed by Thomas Ripley. Its drawing rooms and expansive grounds provided the ideal setting to explore the textures and details that informed the season. A cast of diverse figures brought this story forward: British actor Rupert Everett, model and artist Jeny Howorth, and Luther Ford, best known for his portrayal of Prince Harry in The Crown. They were joined by models Lina Zhang, Assa Baradji, Tristan Watkins, Rubuen Bilan-Carroll, Leon Keenan, and Iris Lasnet, who had first appeared in the Winter 2025 runway show.

Key styles in the campaign build upon Burberry’s outerwear legacy. Raincoats arrive in shredded viscose, corduroy, and cropped embossed leathers, while the new Ellingham car coat comes with a stronger silhouette. Quilted jackets appear in geranium print, and scarves with long fringes are built into jackets made of shearling and alpaca.
The tailoring direction broadens with robes and jackets reinterpreted as coats in cashmere and mohair, finished with chunky-knit shawl collars. Silk pyjama shirts and trousers layer beneath these structured pieces, while velvet brocades cut into equestrian-inspired coats and suits recall the influence of William Morris. Knitwear carries cross-stitch details that nod to historic craftsmanship. The palette features tapestry brown, deer taupe, punk red, yellow, alder, and maze green. Wool checks in tartan-inspired patterns sit next to the Burberry Check worked in intarsia leather, underscoring the house’s approach to fabric experimentation.

Menswear leans into Savile Row techniques combined with rural references. Wool and corduroy suits are styled with jodhpur trousers and pleated check kilts, extending the British codes of dressing. Brushed wool appears in ribbed sweaters, rollnecks, and joggers, presenting a softer side of winter dressing. Eveningwear takes on a sense of craft-driven refinement, as velvet damask dresses arrive with gathered details and hand-cut peacock prints create feathered patterns across gowns.

Accessories anchor the campaign with equally rich detail. Cavalier and Ledger boots are presented in embossed and intarsia leather, while court-inspired pumps taper to a pointed finish. Cameo slippers arrive in quilted velvet, extending the focus on texture. The new Bridle bag introduces saddle shapes with reins-inspired hardware and a curved top handle, while Highlands bags adopt a weathered feel in intarsia check leather.
Through A Grand Escape, Burberry showcases Daniel Lee’s Winter 2025 vision across clothing, footwear, and accessories. The campaign captures both the grandeur of Wolterton Hall and the strength of the textiles that defined the season.
