MSGM presents the Fall Winter 2026 collection through direct engagement with contemporary art and cultural observation. The creative process begins inside Milan’s galleries, where encounters with exhibitions and paintings inform material, color, and silhouette. Works by Stanislao Lepri at Tommaso Calabro, the feline imagery of Leonor Fini, the abstract surfaces of Marina Rheingantz, and the intimate paintings of Amanda Wall influence the visual direction. These references shape the collection through atmosphere and texture, translating visual and emotional impressions into clothing.

The collection develops through the idea of roaming, understood as physical experience and emotional growth. MSGM examines the transition between youth and adulthood, reflecting on generational continuity and change. Silhouettes carry tension between softness and firmness, reflecting layered identity. Sportswear provides a structural base, while tailoring introduces discipline and reshaping. Masculine tailoring compresses the torso and sharpens proportion, while feminine garments open into softer outlines. This interaction reshapes traditional categories and introduces variation in structure and volume.
MSGM introduces lime green, sun orange, ultraviolet, raspberry, and dark chocolate tones. These hues appear in direct combinations that interrupt neutral palettes and define strong visual contrasts. Color blocking creates graphic impact and organizes the garments’ structure. The palette supports the collection’s focus on immediacy and emotional resonance, reinforcing the influence of contemporary painting.
The brand works with spotted tapestry velvet, compact wool, pressed tweed, and military gabardine to create structured surfaces. These fabrics interact with crushed techno nylon, metallic Tyvek, and pressed silver finishes, introducing variation in weight and reflection. Three-dimensional origami embroidery and metallic sequin netting create texture and depth, allowing garments to reflect light and shift visually. Each textile contributes to the collection’s layered construction and reinforces its connection to artistic process.
Cat motifs appear throughout the collection, reflecting instinct, memory, and observation. Stars and roses function as recurring visual signs, reinforcing emotional associations tied to personal and cultural memory. These motifs integrate into garments through prints and embroidery, extending the collection’s visual vocabulary.
The presentation takes place at Fondazione ICA, which hosts its first fashion show in Milan. The venue connects MSGM directly to the city’s contemporary art environment and strengthens the collection’s engagement with artistic production.
