Moynat has unveiled its latest project, a collaboration with artist Kasing Lung, the creator of The Monsters. This limited-edition capsule unites Lung’s imaginative universe with Moynat’s craftsmanship in handbags, leather goods, and accessories. Launching in October, the collection arrives in time to mark the tenth anniversary of The Monsters.

Kasing Lung, a Hong Kong–born artist based in Antwerp, built his reputation by drawing inspiration from Nordic folklore and mythology. His characters often take shape in the form of comics and cartoons, resonating with audiences across art and collectible communities. In 2015, he introduced The Monsters trilogy, a series of books that established the foundation for what has since grown into paintings, toys, and highly sought-after figurines.
Moynat presented the reveal with a campaign photographed by Xiangyu Liu. The portraits feature a line-up of cultural icons: actress Michelle Yeoh, actor Tony Leung, fashion editor Carine Roitfeld, and Paris Opera Ballet danseur étoile Guillaume Diop.
The new Moynat x Kasing Lung collaboration showcases some of his most beloved creations. Labubu, Zimomo, and King Mon appear on Moynat’s signature M Canvas, bringing Lung’s storytelling into the Maison’s archive of design. This intersection of craft and character marks a rare meeting of luxury leatherwork with contemporary art. The pieces range from handbags to accessories, giving collectors multiple ways to engage with the project.
Among the offerings are Tote bags available in three sizes: small, medium, and large, each adapted to feature Lung’s art. The line also includes a Hobo bag, the compact Mini 48h, and a highly exclusive set of Mignon bags. The capsule extends beyond bags to leather goods such as cardholders, passport covers, and charms, all rendered with the same attention to detail.
The project officially debuts in early October as the first chapter of a longer collaboration. Moynat has planned a staggered release that will run from late 2025 into early 2026. During this period, the collection will remain available only through Moynat boutiques in selected cities, creating a unique and limited opportunity for clients and fans to access the pieces.
By working with Kasing Lung, Moynat demonstrates its focus on artistry and innovation, interpreting his playful characters through leatherwork and canvas design. This capsule marks the beginning of an ongoing dialogue between Maison and artist, offering a collection that carries Lung’s stories into luxury form while adding another chapter to Moynat’s legacy in craft.
