Paris brought Spring Summer 2026 fashion month to its close, wrapping the season after New York, London, and Milan. The Fédération’s calendar ran from September 29 to October 7, marking Paris as the final chapter in the global circuit. Each city set its own rhythm: New York leaned into layered transitional looks, London emphasized eclectic experimentation with oversized shapes and playful styling, while Milan balanced tailoring with relaxed ease. Paris stepped in last, combining runway premieres with its own vivid street presence.
Several major houses in Paris presented under new creative direction this season. Jonathan Anderson debuted his first womenswear collection for Dior, reinterpreting the house’s codes with fluid shapes and modern proportions. Matthieu Blazy presented his first Chanel collection after Virginie Viard’s departure, introducing a new direction for the maison. Pierpaolo Piccioli delivered his first Balenciaga collection since his appointment in July 2025, bringing a new voice to the house. Maison Margiela also marked change as Glenn Martens showed his first collection after succeeding John Galliano earlier in the year.

Outside the shows relaxed tailoring was a constant, with loose suits and softened proportions seen throughout the week. Long coats were everywhere, from sharply cut versions to lighter layers. Color shifted between monochrome outfits and bold contrasts, while textures varied from smooth fabrics to more tactile materials. Accessories stood out: oversized bags, layered jewelry, and directional footwear were central to many of the looks photographed around the venues.

Among those captured in Paris exclusively for DSCENE by fashion photographer Macky Mann were Florence Hunt, the young actress recognized for her role as Hyacinth in Bridgerton, and Kit Connor, best known for his lead in the Netflix series Heartstopper. Also photographed were Thai actresses Kornnaphat Sethratanapong and Sirilak Kwong, who first gained popularity as co-stars in The Secret of Us (2024) and more recently appeared in Only You (2025), Nico Parker, known for HBO’s The Last of Us, and Natalia Vodianova, one of fashion’s most established supermodels and a philanthropist.
