Barbour and GANNI return with their fourth collaboration for the SS26 Pre-collection. The capsule channels renewed energy into signature outerwear, combining Barbour’s practical roots with GANNI’s design attitude. The release focuses on function, character, and shape through wax jackets, quilted coats, modern separates, and a set of inventive new proportions.
The collection introduces updated silhouettes informed by the GANNI x Barbour 2024 Re-Loved jacket, originally created for Barbour’s Icons in Quilting exhibition marking the 30th anniversary of the Liddesdale quilted jacket. That reference evolves into peplum shapes across waxed cotton and quilted pieces. The structure creates definition and introduces a feminine line while preserving the utility that has shaped the partnership.

Rainwear grows through lighter, breathable waterproofs designed for varied outdoor conditions. These pieces balance durability with a softer tactility and feature the recognizable GANNI frill trim. Leopard print returns in a deep Dark Olive tone, offering a darker, more adaptable version of a familiar GANNI motif.
Color plays a controlled role across the capsule. Red accents appear in the Royal Stewart tartan, accessories, and a wax peplum jacket. These flashes create contrast within a grounded palette drawn from natural tones. The collaboration introduces two-in-one jackets for the first time. Each design includes a removable lower panel, allowing wearers to switch between cropped and elongated silhouettes.

The campaign, shot by Lukas Wassmann, draws from the Danish concept of friluftsliv, a way of living that embraces the open air. The imagery follows friends of the brand through the Danish countryside, focusing on shared experiences shaped by weather, movement, and time spent outside.
GANNI x Barbour encourages wearers to step outdoors with confidence in pieces shaped for daily use and varied elements. The SS26 capsule continues the evolution of the partnership while remaining connected to the values that define both labels. The collection is available online and in stores.
