Nike introduces Hollywood Keepers as a forward-facing project that sets the tone for its 2026 national team kit collections. The concept pulls from the attitude and visual charge of 1990s and early 2000s goalkeepers, an era defined by fearless design and a sense of individuality that dominated penalty areas worldwide. Nike channels that period’s confidence into a collection built to influence how fans and athletes view kit culture going into the major tournament in 2026.

The brand focuses on the drama and personality of keepers who shaped the visual identity of football during those decades. Hollywood Keepers takes that energy and translates it into color, pattern, and volume, presenting pieces that match the intensity keepers once brought to their position. Nike uses this approach to frame a new design direction that places expressive creativity at the front of its 2026 strategy.

The first release under this concept arrives through the Hollywood Keepers sportswear collection, which explores ideas that sit outside competition rules. Nike uses this freedom to test design pathways that will influence its forthcoming federation kits. The collection acts as an introduction to themes that will appear on-pitch in 2026 while showing how far the brand can push visual storytelling when regulations do not apply.
Each item in the collection builds upon narratives tied to the eight federations featured in Nike’s upcoming kit cycle. The designs draw from motifs that will later appear on official goalkeeper uniforms, including a signature star pattern informed by classic jerseys worn by keepers during football’s more expressive decades. Bespoke prints give every shirt a distinct tone, allowing the brand to explore national identity through vivid graphics and saturated palettes.

Nike uses this opportunity to let goalkeeper design guide the conversation for the first time. The U.S. edition features assertive colors with reinterpreted stars and stripes that reference the USMNT’s past. England’s version releases the Three Lions in a fierce graphic direction that speaks directly to the country’s football character. Korea’s approach layers a peony motif beneath a dynamic tiger design touched with volt accents, creating a visual pattern grounded in the nation’s football heritage.
The Hollywood Keepers sportswear collection arrives globally on December 8 through nike.com and select retailers. Nike will introduce its 2026 federation kits, including the full Hollywood Keeper on-pitch uniforms, closer to the tournament.
