Denim Tears introduces its own proprietary denim for the first time. Having previously collaborated with Levi’s, denim has long been a signature of the brand. With this new release, Denim Tears marks a significant step in its evolution, debuting a collection that defines its own approach to denim. The inaugural DENIM TEARS DENIM collection features two core fits, Straight Leg and Baggy, each distinctly representative of the brand’s identity.
Both fits are crafted from heavyweight 14 oz denim, offered in two classic washes: Light and Dark. Each wash is rich in texture, with wear patterns inspired by vintage denim. The Selvedge Denim (Unwashed) uses a lighter 13 oz Japanese selvedge, woven on traditional shuttle looms. The collection also includes a Trucker Jacket, constructed from the same fabrics and finished in matching washes.

The campaign, photographed by Liam MacRae, features Denim Tears friends and family, including Andre Walker and Ali Richmond. Shot in black and white, the visuals highlight the new silhouettes and offer intimate portraits of the Denim Tears community. Every piece in the DENIM TEARS DENIM line is cut, sewn, and washed in the USA, reflecting a commitment to quality. Production is handled by a manufacturer known as “the cleanest denim factory in the world,” with sustainable practices enabling 98% of water to be recycled throughout the wash process.
DENIM TEARS DENIM BY DENIM TEARS is available starting December 12th at 11am EST on denimtears.com and in-store at Africa Diaspora Goods, 176 Spring St.
