Dickies and TRIPSTER return with their eighth collaborative suit capsule, continuing a partnership that has steadily reshaped contemporary formalwear through proportion, material choice, and clarity of purpose. Since launching their joint project in 2018, the American workwear label and the Tokyo-based creative studio have built a recognizable visual language that sits between utility and tailoring, refusing rigid definitions of what a suit should be.
CAPSULE COLLECTIONS
This season marks the reintroduction of wool-blend tweed, making its first appearance in the collaboration since 2019. The material brings a quieter sense of structure and insulation, offering warmth and moisture control while maintaining a composed, refined surface. Its subtle tonal variation adds depth without excess, giving the suits a more measured presence that feels suited to colder months and layered styling.

The silhouettes remain consistent with the partnership’s established codes. The jacket retains its boxy shape and narrow chest opening, a proportion that has become central to the series’ identity. Tweed shifts the perception of that cut, adding a sharper, more formal register without sacrificing comfort. The pleated trousers taper gently from thigh to ankle, creating a clean line that reads precise while allowing ease of movement. The balance between texture and cut keeps the look controlled yet flexible, inviting individual styling rather than prescribing it.

The capsule arrives in three understated colorways, brown, gray, and black, each chosen for adaptability rather than statement. Modeling the collection is Kunichi Nomura, whose presence reinforces the collaboration’s internal logic. Nomura is the founder of Tripster Inc., his own creative company established in 2004, which operates across interior design for restaurants, retail spaces, and other architectural projects. That background continues to inform TRIPSTER’s approach to clothing, where structure, function, and spatial thinking shape every decision.

Available December 24 at BEAMS Harajuku Annex and via the official BEAMS online store, the Dickies x TRIPSTER eighth suit capsule extends a collaboration built on continuity rather than reinvention. Pricing has yet to be announced.
