PUMA revisits its archive through a collaboration with Danielle Guizio, bringing back the Klim silhouette first introduced in 2003. The original design drew directly from climbing footwear, with a structure built for grip and contact. This return keeps that reference intact while shifting the shoe into a contemporary context shaped by material and finish.

Danielle Guizio, designer and CEO of her namesake label, approached the project with a clear starting point. She focused on the functional qualities rooted in climbing footwear, drawing attention to grounding and stability. The concept builds on a connection to the ground, translating technical elements into a design suited for everyday use. Guizio aimed to maintain the original structure while refining the form into something direct and adaptable.

The design introduces premium leather with a lightly distressed surface, referencing wear over time. This finish adds depth to the shoe while keeping the construction aligned with its functional origins. The palette leans into earthy tones, creating a restrained visual language that draws from outdoor environments. Each detail supports a sense of balance between performance-driven design and daily wear.
PUMA continues to build on its archive through projects that revisit and reinterpret earlier designs. This collaboration reflects that direction, bringing forward a silhouette that carries historical relevance while aligning with a current perspective. Guizio’s contribution introduces a distinct point of view, where material, function, and styling intersect within a single product.

The campaign shows the Klim within a natural environment that reflects its origins. Snow-covered ground, pale light, and mossy tones create a setting that echoes the references behind the design.
PUMA x Danielle Guizio Klim releases on March 28, 2026. The sneaker will be available through danielleguiziony.com, the GUIZIO New York store, PUMA.com, PUMA flagship locations, and selected retailers.
