Dries Van Noten presents a new series of images developed with artist Ann Vendi, setting a focused direction for Spring Summer 2026. The collaboration centers on Vendi’s graphic language, which introduces a sharp visual framework to the season. Her work defines the imagery through rhythm, contrast, and optical tension, placing garments within an environment that feels constructed and immersive.
AD CAMPAIGNS
Ann Vendi, originally from Ukraine and based in Berlin, approaches the project through a painterly method that emphasizes movement and perception. She builds each image through layered motifs that shift between flatness and depth. Spirals, polka dots, and blocks of color appear throughout the visuals, creating a consistent visual system that supports the collection. Red, black, and white anchor the palette, while pastel tones introduce variation and intensity.

Sculptural lines define the body while fluid structures allow movement within the frame. Vendi places these silhouettes against graphic environments that absorb and reflect their forms. The result creates a continuous exchange between figure and setting, where boundaries remain fluid.
Accessories receive a distinct focus within the series. Jewelry, shoes, and bags appear as individual elements, presented with the same precision as the garments. This approach builds a clear rhythm across the series, alternating between full looks and isolated objects.

Dries Van Noten extends the project beyond imagery through a series of exhibitions. The artworks will appear at Mercer in New York and La Cienega in Los Angeles, expanding the visual narrative into physical space. Window displays at Quais Malaquais in Paris and Aoyama in Tokyo will further present the work, placing the images within key retail locations.
