Canali Spring Summer 2027, On the Spice Route, begins with scent, color and movement. Cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, vanilla, ginger and nutmeg guide the collection, carrying references from Indonesia to India, East Africa, Greece and Alicudi. Alessio Lillocci uses these spices as a palette for a wardrobe shaped by heat, travel and changing climates. For DSCENE Magazine, photographer Sohom Das documented the environment through a series of exclusive images.

The collection opens with the idea of a navigator’s wardrobe. Lightweight fabrics appear in sesame, star anise and cinnamon tones, while layering gives each look practical range. A full grain suede blouson comes paired with carrot fit cotton canvas trousers, setting a relaxed yet refined tone. Knitwear plays a central role through micro perforated pure cotton, cotton silk mixes, structured stitches and the new Nuvola cotton, designed for softness, lightness and comfort.

Suits soften through warm shades, V neck knitwear and casual bucket hats. Technical outerwear adds utility, while carrot fit trousers bring volume and contemporary proportion. Linen gains importance as the route moves toward East Africa, appearing pure and mixed with other fibers. Nutmeg trousers, cardamom knitwear and Japanese denim with colored wefts and indigo warps expand the material language.

Blue defines the Greece passage, with sea tones moving from myrtle blue to salt of Persia shades. Blazers take center stage through different weights and constructions, while reversible wool nylon cloths and ultra light nappa leathers extend the outerwear offering.

The final stop, Alicudi, brings linen crêpe suits, micro chalk stripes, Sea Island cotton, Bermuda shorts, sandals, espadrilles, boat shoes and lighter SoftGoodyear constructions. Black enters Canali’s summer wardrobe with restraint, adding a sharper note to the season’s relaxed elegance. Among other guests, actor Zhan Xuan attended the Canali Spring Summer 2027 presentation during Milan Fashion Week.
