Nike gives the Air Force 1 Low a workwear-inspired treatment for Fall Winter 2026 with the new Workboot “Shadow Brown” edition. The design keeps the familiar low-top silhouette while introducing materials and hardware associated with outdoor footwear. Canvas and suede shape the upper, while rope laces, metallic lace loops and an earth-toned outsole push the sneaker toward a rugged direction.
SNEAKERS
Shadow Brown canvas forms the foundation of the upper and covers the toe box, quarter panels and heel. Nike layers Baroque Brown suede over the canvas at the toe, Swoosh, heel tab and eyelet area, giving the shoe a deeper range of brown tones. The combination of the two materials creates visible differences in texture while keeping the palette concentrated around dark, warm shades.
Nike gives particular attention to the suede around the lacing system. Serrated edges frame the area where the laces cross the upper, adding another surface detail to the otherwise familiar Air Force 1 construction. The treatment brings a rougher finish to the shoe and connects with the workboot references that define the edition.
The lacing system creates the clearest departure from the standard Air Force 1 Low. Light Armory Blue rope laces introduce the main color contrast against the Shadow Brown and Baroque Brown upper. Instead of traditional punched eyelets, metallic gold lace loops guide the laces along the shoe. Their hardware-driven construction brings an outdoor footwear reference directly into one of the Air Force 1’s most recognizable areas.
An oval lace dubrae adds another workboot-inspired element. Its vintage shape sits over the rope laces and continues the emphasis on hardware. Nike carries additional details into the interior. A brown and green plaid lining introduces a flannel-like pattern that remains largely concealed once the wearer laces the sneaker.
Underfoot, a Gum Medium Brown outsole completes the design. The gum finish follows the warm tones used throughout the upper and keeps the color story consistent from the canvas and suede panels down to the sole. Set for Fall Winter 2026, the edition gives the Air Force 1 Low a distinctly rugged treatment built around Shadow Brown, Baroque Brown and Light Armory Blue.
