Cactus Jack and Oakley introduce Chapter 001, the first release in their collaborative eyewear project. Curated and redesigned by Travis Scott, Oakley’s Chief Visionary Officer, the limited collection focuses on three existing Oakley models: the Plantaris, Straight Jacket 99 and Eye Jacket Redux.
EYEWEAR
For the collaboration, Scott gives each frame a new treatment through colorways developed specifically for Cactus Jack. The models arrive in CJ Matte Mesquite or CJ Black Ink, establishing a restrained palette across three silhouettes with distinct forms.

Each pair features Prizm Snow Black lenses, which Oakley designed to enhance color and contrast. The dark lenses create a consistent visual element across the collection while allowing the individual structures of the Plantaris, Straight Jacket 99 and Eye Jacket Redux to remain distinct.
The release extends the Cactus Jack treatment beyond the eyewear itself. Every pair arrives with a custom Cactus Jack micro bag and box, carrying the collaboration’s visual direction into the packaging.

The Plantaris forms one part of the three-model lineup, joined by two designs from Oakley’s eyewear catalog. The Straight Jacket 99 returns through Scott’s selected color treatments, while the Eye Jacket Redux receives the same Cactus Jack-specific palette and Prizm Snow Black lenses.
The project also brings Nicolas Winding Refn into its campaign. Scott tapped the acclaimed director to help develop the visual concept surrounding the release. Justin Jefferson, a Team Oakley athlete, stars in the campaign.

Scott’s role as Oakley’s Chief Visionary Officer places him directly within the creative development of Chapter 001. His involvement covers the selection and redesign of the three frames, while Refn contributes to the campaign direction and Jefferson appears as its central figure.
The collection is available through Oakley website from September 25, following its September 24 release through Travis Scott website.
