Miss Lanvin: the best dressed doll around

Designer: Alber Elbaz
Item: Miss Lanvin Dolls

We did talk about Miss Lanvin dolls a while ago, in case u didn't get your Miss Lanvin doll its too late, since they are sold out. We did find some new images of 'em so thats why we are making the post again, and heres just a bit about this limited edition project as a small reminder:

Alber Elbaz recently decked out the windows of his Paris boutique with mini mannequins, having hit upon the idea of reworking his signature designs on porcelain dolls. Using Elbaz's original sketches, six Miss Lanvin dolls are dressed in the key outfits from his current and past collections ( for example, Miss Lanvin 6 is in that famous scarlet silk organza dress from the Fall/Winter 06-07 collection ). The details of the clothes, as well as the shoes and even the jewellery, are reproduced identically.

These adorable long-limbed poupees are painted and decorated by hand, numbered and signed, and in limited-edition runs of 800. They're called Miss Lanvin 1, 2, 3 and so on. Each measures approx. 10 inches high, and comes with A LIMITED EDITION CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY with limited edition number. Handcrafted by Chinese craftsman Franz, famous world-wide for his collections of decorative objects in Chinese porcelain, created by Alber Elbaz.
