Lanvin is taking yet another exciting step, this time by creating a collection for children, this new luxury line will have 25 products for little girls age 4 to 10, reflecting on the tradition of the brand. But if you look into the history of Lanvin a line for children is actually something nestled in the roots of this noted French house:
"She sewed to dazzle her daughter, and in so doing she dazzled the world." – this is how Louise de Vilmorin described Jeanne Lanvin's love for her daughter Marguerite.
Back in 1908. Children's Clothing actually became Lanvin's first clothing department, soon after taken by the line mothers sought after similar clothes for themselves. This new collection designed by Alber Elbaz will be available by the end of November, and the for the first time it will be presented in a June show. The sketch above dates to year 1929.
