Sylvio Giardina’s new project SEVEN [7] was inspired by “tangram”, the ancient Chinese puzzle that dissects square into seven geometric shapes “Pulling apart to recreate“. The Fall Winter 2016.17 Collection was based on the definition of geometric shapes breaking from strict rules in order to build dynamic geometries and ever-changing volumes, with irregular cuts that outline essential lines, and in colors such as black, blue, bronze, warm gray, and petrol blue. For the collection Sylvio used fabrics such as velvet, jersey, brocade, velvet lace, and satin.
