The North Face Urban Exploration prepares for Fall 2025 with a two-stage collection that draws influence from both architecture and wilderness. The line integrates modular design with adaptable staples, reflecting the label’s idea of “urban explorers.” The season begins in August with denim-focused pieces and continues in September with a series of performance-driven designs.
Designer Naohiro Fujisaki leads the August release, shaping it as an exploration of “layers and interactions.” Each piece can stand alone or function within a system of coordinated looks. Denim anchors the lineup, bringing texture and utility together in adaptable cuts. The Denim Hybrid Jacket forms a centerpiece, paired with Triple Side Seam Denim Pants that add structure and utility to the collection. Completing the set, the Denim Modular Vest introduces detachable three-dimensional pockets that transform into a crossbody bag, extending the modular approach into accessories.

This August chapter introduces a design logic rooted in adaptability. The pieces shift easily between independent use and layered styling, reflecting a versatility central to the idea of exploration within city environments. The denim elements carry a raw, structured presence while accommodating the functional needs of contemporary wearers.
The September release, designed by Andrea Jiapei Li, shifts the emphasis toward technical craftsmanship. Li defines the direction as a study in “the tension of an arc,” which informs the collection’s use of curved lines and three-dimensional tailoring. The pieces carry an engineered precision, structured around shapes that move with the wearer. Hidden pockets enhance the garments’ practical qualities, while adjustable silhouettes allow customization and movement.

Outerwear stands as a focal point of the September drop. The City Exploration Jacket employs GORE-TEX technology within an A-line structure, ensuring protection while maintaining a sharp outline. Another key design, the Layered Mount Hardshell Jacket, combines panels in lunar blue and linen yellow. This use of color recalls retro outerwear while advancing contemporary utility.

The two releases create a rhythm across the season, first grounding the line in denim and then moving toward advanced outerwear. The approach positions North Face Urban Exploration as both adaptable and performance-driven, with each chapter presenting a focused design vision.
The Fall 2025 Urban Exploration collection will be available exclusively in the Asia-Pacific region. Both installments, the August denim line and the September tech-driven release, will launch on the line’s official webstore.
