Discover Faustine Steinmetz first ever runway show at London Fashion Week. The spring summer 2018 collection revisits the usual classics in an unseen way, replicating the typical pieces that everyone has in their wardrobe. She focuses on reproducing everyday pieces with artisanal techniques that most importantly are constructed from sustainable fabrics.
“The show is about the repetition of these archetypes, seen over and over again but revisited each time completely in different fabrics. For instance, the trench will be all cut up as if it was paper one time, completely transparent and made up of yarns another time, or entirely made out of recycled silicone another time. It’s all about a different perspective and approach and providing each basic with a different life and story.”
