Discover Steve O Smith‘s Pre-Fall 2020 collection, that reinterprets a selection of signature styles and focuses on detail, tailoring and craftmanship, presented with brand’s latest lookbook lensed by fashion photographer Richard Dowker. Star of the session is model Biba Williams. In charge of beauty were hair stylist Takuya Morimoto, and makeup artist Porsche Poon. Casting direction by Chloe Rosolek.
PRE-FALL 2020 COLLECTIONS
“In a polished colour palette of neutrals with pops of berry tones, sharp tailored pieces feature the brand’s staple exaggerated volume sleeves and slanted pocket details. Shirting is asymmetric with spiky collars and sweeping necklines, suiting is relaxed with subtle kick flares and boxy jackets. Cut with asymmetric hems and flounce, silk bias dresses are in champagne or blush pink hues to contrast with statement monochromatic animal prints in silk and pony skin leather. Dashes of cherry pink on a diamond print two-piece suit mirror vinyl trousers and a smart overcoat. While the colours and cuts of this season further refine the SOS girl, the playful nature of the brand remains not only embroidered into the identity of the clothes but quite literally onto the t-shirts by hand.“
