Fashion house VIVIENNE WESTWOOD presented their Fall Winter 2022.23 Collection, that was inspired by the brand’s Gold Label‘s Autumn Winter 2001 collection titled Wild Beauty, on February 21st, during the ongoing London Fashion Week. The collection celebrates the year of the tiger, and it brings animalistic spirit with tiger prints, leopard spots, and a panther-inspired cutting technique. For the season, Dame Vivienne Westwood also found inspiration in art, Pieter Bruegel’s 1559 painting ‘The Fight Between Carnival and Lent’ is featured on certain pieces such as a quilted coat, bag, and shoes. The 71% of the collection was made from low impact and cruelty free materials. The brand reimagined fabrics from previous seasons and made them feel new.
