Fashion brand Ann Demeulemeester announced that brand’s new creative director will be designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin. Born in Brussels and raised in Paris, Ludovic de Saint Sernin graduated from l’ESAA Duperré and worked for prominent French houses before launching his eponymous label in 2017, immediately gaining accolades for his sensual and individuality-driven take on fashion. To present his new appointment, Ludovic de Saint Sernin released a set of 6 images shot by Willy Vanderperre, styled by Olivier Rizzo, with makeup by Karin Westerlund and hair by Guido Palau, in which he himself embodies pieces from the Ann Demeulemeester archive, interpreting them anew. Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s first collection for Ann Demeulemeester will be unveiled in March 2023 during Paris Fashion Week.
