British fashion house ALEXANDER MCQUEEN unveiled its Pre-Fall Winter 2023 Collection that explores beauty and power through tailoring. The collection focuses on cut, proportion and silhouette, and it subverts the classics to bring spliced and slashed looks. For the season designer Sarah Burton reimagines the uniform and examines hyper nature. Solarized flowers appear alongside bright pinks, yellows and reds and elaborate crystal embroideries. Key pieces include single-breasted tailored jacket, slashed skirt in black grain de poudre with silver metal zip detailing, slashed tulle dress with crystal embroidery, black harness with crystal embroidery, slashed denim pencil skirt, biker jacket in colored tweed and black leather, slashed biker skirt in black leather, and trench coat in black poly faille.
Fashion photographer David Sims captured the campaign featuring models Karolina Spakowski, Celina Ralph, Sora Choi, Alaato Jazyper, Amanda Murphy, Florence Huntington-Whiteley, Florence Hutchings, Élise Crombez, Colin Jones, Rejoice Chuol, Wang Han, Wanessa Milhomem and Adhel Bol. In charge of styling was Camilla Nickerson, with beauty from hair stylist Paul Hanlon, and makeup artist Lucia Pieroni.
