Fashion house DSQUARED2 unveiled its Spring Summer 2024 Collection, that was inspired by the intriguing idea of country club members venturing into the world of adult film stardom in Palm Beach, during the ongoing Milan Fashion Week. The collection is all about combining preppy essentials with raunchy accents, resulting in a one-of-a-kind mash-up that pays homage to previous Dsquared2 collections. The collection is inspired by golf and tennis, and it mixes sportswear spirit with raw and edgy signatures. For men, a hybrid striped polo shirt is paired with jean shorts, argyle socks, and a buttoned shirt. Women’s tennis skirts are paired with ornate pearl necklaces and double-breasted jackets, and metallic ankle-laced sandals embellished with marijuana leaves complete the look. The Rolling Stones’ iconic tongue logo takes on a new level as a beaded women’s top and a vertical sliced tank for men.
SPRING SUMMER 2024 COLLECTIONS
For the season, denim takes center stage, exuding an unadulterated and sexy vibe. Cut-outs below the waistband and on the thighs of girls’ low-slung jeans are adorned with a network of resin rings. Inspired by a Dsquared2 jeans silhouette from the 2000s, men wear washed and updated jeans with a zip-away back that displays their underwear. Other men’s denim pants are embellished with flat studs or include cut-out stars, which are also featured on a cut-off vest. A vibrant and swirling wave-like colorful print adorns men’s bull denim jeans, an unbuttoned shirt, and a tank top. Men’s underwear sets with retro-style floral prints are complemented with satin shorts and bomber jackets, as well as bronze leather pants with an exposed zip on the crotch paired with a rugby-style T-shirt. Glazed tennis and duffle bags featuring Americana sport style graphics complete the look for the guys. In a true mix-up statement, men’s tie fabric is transformed into a women’s miniskirt, styled with a boucle jacket that incorporates a shirt. Delicate ankle-wrapped sandals with quilted florals round off the look. Pastels dominate another look, with quilted flowers and butterflies decorating a nude mini dress with a corset waist. A crystal stone-covered argyle cardigan is transformed into a little dress, with knotted sleeves dropped casually across the neckline and shoulders. A short and knotted striped rugby shirt is worn with a built-in bra underneath.
The collection relies heavily on accessories. The Gothic belt bag has rugby-style laces on the sides, whereas the Open Your Heart bag is shaped like a heart and is embellished with glitter-specked resin. Underwear is made from baseball cap mesh, and the back of a baseball hat with its connecting strap is integrated into the sleeve cuffs of a women’s cropped denim jacket.
Rocco Siffredi, Italy’s legendary adult film star, has also collaborated on a number of pieces, including water slides, belts, and high tops, adding a touch of allure to the collection.
