Aknvas presented their Fall Winter 2024 Collection as a part of the New York Fashion Week. Photographer Katie Borrazzo has captured the backstage moments exclusively for DSCENE.
The new collection, designed by Christian Juul Nielsen, stood out for its use of texture and material. Chunky cable knits, refined wools, textured furs, acid-washed denim, plush shearling, and sequins could be seen on the runway, just to name a few. The experimentation was also evident in the tailoring, while the color scheme was mainly monochromatic with occasional muted and earthy combinations.
