Antonio Marras sets Spring Summer 2027 in the hours after St. John’s night in Alghero, when celebration gives way to the hazy calm of morning. Antiogu and Ippolita stand at the center of the story, preparing for a midday wedding after a night of bonfires, music, guests and an outdoor table that has remained full until dawn. BACKSTAGE
Marras uses that in-between moment to shape the collection. The clothes appear touched by the previous night, as though their wearers have moved directly from the gathering into daylight. Salt remains on the skin, myrtle catches in the hair, and fabrics carry the impression of long hours spent outside.
The collection develops through dense surface work and layered materials. Marras works with silk, chiffon, organza, tulle, macramé lace, Chantilly lace and satin, placing them beside cool wool, poplin, leather, brocade, jacquard and sequins. Embroidery, crystals, inlays, aerodynamic pleats and tactile patches bring depth to dresses, footwear and accessories. A deconstructed parka receives an elaborate treatment while retaining the recognizable structure of the original garment.
Color follows the movement from late night into midday. Honey, cream, sand and nude open the palette, followed by gold and stone. Powder pink and dusty blue appear alongside ecru, military green, mud and black, creating a progression tied to earth, sea and changing light. Prints move through stripes, checks, camouflage and painterly florals. Knitwear sits close to the body, while denim introduces a firmer note among the more delicate fabrics.
Bags in white, plum and black feature spherical metal elements, embroidery and three-dimensional surfaces. Pointed slingbacks come in mud, powder pink, burgundy and black, detailed with studs, crystals and embroidery. Loafers keep their classic shape while taking on the collection’s materials and finishes.
For jewelry, Marras works with Giovanni Raspini on pieces made from burnished bronze using lost-wax micro-casting. Semi-precious stones, minerals, feathers, mother-of-pearl flakes, papier-mâché, resins, fabrics and lace appear alongside references to Sardinian masks, geckos, flowers, bucrania and seaweed.

The collection was presented at Giardino Vincenzo Muccioli in Milan, where a long table turned the space into an imagined corner of Sardinia. The open format allowed passersby to become part of the event, extending the feeling of a gathering that had carried from night into the wedding day.
