Hublot Releases Big Bang Sang Bleu All Black Pavé

The newest expression of the Swiss watchmaker’s enduring collaboration with tattoo artist Maxime Plescia-Buchi takes shape in the Big Bang Sang Bleu All Black Pavé—a timepiece that fuses Hublot’s revolutionary “All Black” concept with Plescia-Buchi’s striking geometric motifs.

Limited to just 200 pieces, this latest release shows Hublot’s pioneering monochromatic design first introduced in 2006. The 42mm polished black-plated case is set with 180 black diamonds—around 2.4 carats—that dance in and out of the engraved geometric lines. When light hits the diamonds, they create subtle reflections that contrast with the otherwise subdued, black-on-black aesthetic. Instead of conventional legibility, the timepiece focuses on the richness of shapes, textures, and matte-versus-polished details, illustrating Hublot’s ethos of “invisible visibility.”

Maxime Plescia-Buchi’s signature geometric tattoo lines are etched around the tonneau-shaped Big Bang case and bezel, lending a layered, three-dimensional feel to the watch.
