Diesel and Timberland have joined forces for the latest installment of the DIESEL LOVES initiative, a program dedicated to encouraging collaboration between brands to combat overproduction and waste. This creative venture, titled DIESEL LOVES TIMBERLAND, follows the success of the inaugural DIESEL LOVES LEE collection launched in early 2024. The initiative challenges the norms of brand partnerships by encouraging the use of shared materials and manufacturing resources to address pressing environmental issues.
Bringing together Diesel’s expertise in denim and Timberland’s heritage in crafting durable, weather-resistant apparel, the collection features hybrid shirts in six colorways. Each piece is constructed from unsold inventory from both brands, mixing Diesel’s signature denim with Timberland’s iconic plaid flannel.

“Sustainability has long been a priority for our brand. We know our products have an impact on the environment, and this project helps us give overstock garments a second life in a unique and creative style expression,” shared Maisie Willoughby, Chief Marketing Officer for the brand.
The collaboration underscores the potential for the fashion industry to work together toward a more sustainable future. By transforming surplus inventory into sought-after pieces, Diesel and Timberland are proving that style and environmental consciousness can coexist effectively.

Glenn Martens, Diesel’s Creative Director and the driving force behind the DIESEL LOVES initiative, expressed the program’s mission “Even the smallest actions can have a significant impact. DIESEL LOVES TIMBERLAND marks the next chapter in our ongoing DIESEL LOVES project. Two industry leaders are joining forces to tackle overconsumption and create something meaningful and beautiful together with the will to empower change through a call-to-action”
Available globally starting January 22, the limited-edition capsule collection will be sold in select Diesel and Timberland stores and through their online platforms. Priced at 250 Euros, the shirts reflect a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability.
