First teased in January, the rerelease lands in a gold-drenched finish that reflects both Zinedine Zidane’s achievements and the legacy of the original boot. The new version references the design that defined the early 2000s and the player who gave it global relevance.

This edition celebrates Zidane’s recognition as World Player of the Year in 2000. adidas gifted him the original gold pair that year, and now the brand brings that moment back into focus with an updated model that respects its predecessor while adjusting for modern performance needs.
The Predator arrives in a “Gold Met/Black/Collegiate Red” colorway, echoing the same palette Zidane wore when dominating the game at the turn of the millennium. Black Three Stripes cut across the golden leather upper, holding to the exact diagonal layout seen in the original. A vivid red fold-over tongue sits above the laces, completing the look that fans have long associated with control, power, and precision.
Flip that tongue, and you’ll find an etched image of Zidane mid-volley, his unforgettable 2002 Champions League Final goal for Real Madrid immortalized in silhouette.
