The midsole includes FF BLAST™ PLUS, a lightweight foam designed for a balance between cushioning and rebound. This version features an extra 2mm of foam in the forefoot, delivering increased softness with each landing. Combined with a reconfigured foam layout, the GEL-KAYANO™ 32 achieves a lower overall weight compared to the previous model, improving responsiveness and maintaining comfort over time.
PureGEL™ technology, located in the rearfoot, further enhances shock absorption and transition smoothness. This gel-based insert works alongside the FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning to reduce impact during heel strike and encourage a smooth roll forward into toe-off.

ASICS reengineered the mesh upper for a more breathable and adaptive fit. The material offers a soft touch against the foot, allowing for better airflow during longer runs. Underfoot, the shoe features HYBRID ASICSGRIP™, a newly developed outsole compound that prioritizes traction and durability. The compound was chosen for its durability and its ability to maintain performance over time, even under high mileage use.
