Casio has announced a bold new collaboration between its iconic G-Shock watch line and Crocs, marking an unexpected union between timekeeping and footwear design. The limited-edition collection introduces the Crocs Echo Wave, a reimagined clog that pushes the boundaries of utility and street style. This marks the first time the two brands have worked together, and the result is anything but ordinary.

At the core of the collaboration is a custom marbled ankle strap, inspired by G-Shock’s renowned shock-resistant structure. The swirling pattern mirrors the rugged aesthetic that has defined G-Shock watches since their inception, while adding an entirely new visual identity to the Echo Wave silhouette. The clog also features a glow-in-the-dark finish, reinforcing both brands’ shared interest in function and experimentation.
Perhaps the most innovative feature is a modular watch case that functions as both a wristwatch and an attachable accessory for the shoe. The timepiece can be worn traditionally on the wrist or detached and snapped directly onto the clog’s rivet system. This interchangeable design reflects G-Shock’s history of utilitarian innovation while tapping into Crocs’ embrace of personalization and customization.
The watch component itself is no gimmick. It boasts G-Shock’s hallmark shock resistance and 200-meter water resistance, making it suitable for rugged environments and everyday wear alike. Additional features include world time with coverage of 48 cities and 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, five daily alarms, and a double LED light system for visibility in low-light conditions.
