Patrick Dempsey has maintained a long-standing partnership with TAG Heuer, and it continues to evolve, marking a significant new chapter in his relationship with the Swiss luxury watchmaker. Since 2014, Dempsey has embodied the TAG Heuer ethos, and now, as the official face of TAG Heuer Eyewear, his influence on the brand deepens with the launch of their 2025 collection.

Dempsey, a professional actor and racing driver, shares the same values as TAG Heuer: the pursuit of excellence and the drive to win. His presence on the racetrack has further cemented his connection to the brand. A regular competitor at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans, Dempsey has completed over 300 laps, securing second place in the GTE Am category in 2015. His dedication earned him the “Spirit of Le Mans” award in 2019, a testament to his passion for endurance racing.

Unlike typical celebrity endorsements, Dempsey’s involvement with TAG Heuer has been both authentic and active. He’s been a familiar face at events like the Monaco Grand Prix and boutique openings, as well as behind the wheel at Rennsport Reunion 7. This year, he plays a key role in the creation of TAG Heuer’s 2025 Eyewear Collection, lending his expertise in performance and style to the design process.

The campaign for the new collection opens with a powerful homage to the brand’s deep roots in motorsport. In an image inspired by a legendary portrait of Jack Heuer, Dempsey holds a chronograph, channeling the essence of TAG Heuer’s legacy in motorsport. The actor is seen wearing two key models from the collection, the Jack Heuer and Mini Vingt-Sept eyewear lines. These designs merge classic appeal with modern sensibilities, offering a fresh visual perspective while honoring the past.

This campaign builds on Dempsey’s recent work in Ferrari (2024), where he portrayed racing legend Piero Taruffi. The connection between Dempsey’s portrayal and the legendary 1971 collaboration between Jack Heuer and Ferrari highlights the ongoing legacy of TAG Heuer’s involvement in motorsport and its dedication to groundbreaking design.

The 2025 TAG Heuer Eyewear Collection stands at the intersection of design, performance, and the brand’s motorsport legacy. Three distinct lines feature in the collection, each capturing different facets of TAG Heuer’s innovation.

Inspired by Jack Heuer’s visionary leadership and his role in the brand’s first Formula 1 partnership in 1971, the Jack Heuer line honors a legacy of innovation. Featuring 1960s-inspired pilot frames, crafted from ultra-light Japanese titanium, and Chromafade lenses, this line combines vintage elegance with precision, reflecting Jack Heuer’s lasting impact on both design and performance.

The Mini Vingt-Sept line takes TAG Heuer’s technical eyewear to the next level. With sleek elliptical steel hinges and bio-nylon temples, this design focuses on performance and precision, paying homage to the brand’s iconic 27° hinge. Finished with polarized SPECTA lenses, the line offers enhanced visual clarity for those seeking dynamic movement, speed, and detail.

The Shield Pro line is a bold, performance-driven eyewear design tailored for extreme environments. Ultra-light and durable, the flexible bio-nylon frame ensures maximum comfort, while interchangeable lenses provide versatility for athletes, riders, and anyone who thrives in high-speed conditions. The subtle TAG Heuer emblem adds a touch of distinction, with no compromise on clarity and control.

Patrick Dempsey’s involvement in this new collection continues TAG Heuer’s legacy of connecting performance with style, ensuring the brand’s dominance in both motorsport and luxury eyewear.
