PUMA has officially introduced the latest International Home and Away kits for Portugal, Switzerland, and Iceland’s women’s national teams, timed to the upcoming European Championship in Switzerland this summer. Each uniform features distinct visual references drawn from its nation’s culture, while also incorporating performance materials tailored for elite play and wide fan appeal.

The Portugal kits draw directly from national iconography, referencing the Quinas, a historic symbol that appears on the country’s coat of arms and football crest. The Home kit retains Portugal’s familiar deep red base, updated with richer tonal contrasts and refined detailing to mark a new chapter in the team’s visual identity. The Away version takes a more expressive approach, introducing futuristic graphics layered with vivid colors that nod to Portugal’s relationship with technology, contemporary art, and progressive design.

For Switzerland, the launch holds added significance as the host nation. The Home kit features a red base color derived from the Swiss flag, enhanced with subtle linework that references traditional Swiss textile monograms. This is a custom design produced exclusively for the women’s team. The Away kit uses bright white as its foundation, overlaid with a graphic pattern inspired by alpine topography and Jungfraujoch station – the highest railway station in Europe. These motifs connect national pride with natural geography and Swiss precision.

Iceland’s designs remain firmly rooted in the country’s terrain and atmospheric phenomena. The Home kit evokes the movement and coloration of glaciers through its flowing design, rendered in icy tones. The Away jersey references the aurora borealis, using gradients and wave-like elements to mirror the northern lights. With this being the fifth consecutive tournament appearance for the team, the kits aim to visually express both Iceland’s strength and the natural beauty that defines its character.
Each jersey will be offered in two tiers: Authentic and Replica. The Authentic versions, worn by players on the field, utilize PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric. This lightweight material reduces drag and supports unrestricted movement. It also includes dryCELL technology, designed to manage sweat and keep athletes dry during gameplay. Replica jerseys, made for fans, are constructed under PUMA’s RE:FIBRE program. This initiative uses at least 95% recycled textile waste and other polyester-based content, reducing environmental impact while maintaining design and structural integrity.

The new Puma international kits are available for purchase now via PUMA.com and through selected global retail partners. With each country receiving unique visual elements and tailored performance features, the collection presents a focused approach to both identity and innovation ahead of this summer’s continental tournament.
