Supreme has once again joined forces with Dr. Martens, this time delivering a sharp reinterpretation of the classic Penton Loafer. Known for its understated silhouette and utilitarian durability, the Penton has been updated for Spring 2024 with a new energy, adding punk-inspired metal studs and a Supreme-exclusive color palette. The collaboration drops on May 22, with a later release in Asia on May 24.
SHOES
This latest team-up marks a return to the brands’ shared appreciation for subcultural uniform, infusing a formal silhouette with streetwear attitude. The Studded Penton Loafer features a smooth leather upper punctuated with silver-toned studs across the forefoot and collar. A co-branded leather footbed adds internal detail, while the signature Dr. Martens AirWair® sole ensures all-day comfort with its familiar cushioning and grip.

The release comes in three colorways, classic black, rich cherry red, and soft cream, each designed to contrast sharply with the gleam of the metallic hardware. The loafers maintain a sleek shape with no laces or fastenings, allowing the studwork and material finish to take center stage.

As with all Supreme collaborations, exclusivity plays a key role. The Penton Loafer will be available only through Supreme channels, adding collectible appeal for brand loyalists. This drop continues Supreme’s tradition of elevating functional wardrobe staples through bold reinterpretations.

The campaign imagery highlights the product’s subversive edge. Set against minimal backdrops, the loafers are styled with loose denim, tailoring, and leather outerwear, emphasizing their versatility across genres and subcultures. While the shoes reflect Dr. Martens’ historical ties to British punk and working-class style, Supreme adds a distinctly New York edge.
The Supreme x Dr. Martens Studded Penton Loafer arrives just ahead of summer, offering a transitional piece that works across seasons and scenes. From everyday wear to statement styling, the collaboration shows how both brands consistently transform classics into culture-driven icons.
