Banana Republic travels to the eastern edge of Long Island this August with a campaign that leans into salt air, sun-faded tones, and relaxed elegance. The latest collection, photographed in locations such as Gerard Beach, The Crow’s Nest, and the Pollock-Krasner House, introduces new staples that favor breathable materials and straightforward design. From Amagansett to Montauk, the shoot reflects the tone of late summer with a focus on everyday pieces that balance comfort and purpose.

The women’s collection builds its foundation with soft cotton twill and high-quality linen. Key pieces include the Pintuck Shirtdress, which maintains structure while offering an easy fit, and the Painter Pant, shaped for movement with subtle tailoring. These styles reflect a practical yet polished approach, lending themselves to both coastal escapes and casual city days.

For menswear, Banana Republic presents relaxed silhouettes with a sharp finish. The Italian Stretch Chinos create a streamlined base, while open-weave polos in textured fabrics provide ventilation and shape. Lightweight cotton, supple suede, structured denim, and linen show up across both collections, designed to handle the shift between seasons without feeling abrupt. These fabrics allow for layering without adding weight, keeping the focus on wearability through the end of summer and into the early days of fall.

“Our team looked to the rhythm of summer escapes and creative spaces for this collection,” says Meena Anvary, Head of Marketing at Banana Republic. “From afternoons spent at the beach to visits with local artists, we wanted to express that sense of freedom and movement. Each location influenced the styling, the color palette, and the attitude of the clothes. We focused on clean silhouettes and materials that feel good on the body. Whether you’re stepping into the Pollock-Krasner House or relaxing outside in Amagansett, the collection fits the setting.”

The campaign relies on a cast of established and fresh faces, with models Mila Bergsma and Paula Soares representing the women’s looks, and Ibby Sow and Francesco Ruggiero leading the men’s side. Photographer Sonia Szostak captures each scene with natural light and honest framing.

The creative team chose locations that reflect the tone of the clothing without overcomplicating the concept. At the Pollock-Krasner House, the campaign draws from the artistic legacy of the space while maintaining the brand’s minimal focus. The Crow’s Nest and other open-air spots near the water provide atmosphere without overpowering the collection’s color palette or silhouette-driven approach.
